Five Truths.
One Great God.

The name V Solae is inspired by the Five Solae of the Christian faith:

  • Sola Gratia (Grace Alone)

  • Sola Fide (Faith Alone)

  • Solus Christus (Christ Alone)

  • Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone)

  • Soli Deo Gloria (to the Glory of God Alone)

 

The "V" stands for the Roman numeral 5, while "Solae" is Latin for "only" or "alone".

Through Jesus Christ, God shows His amazing love, He saves us by grace, leads us through His Word, and invites us to live for His glory.

Mission Statement

"To craft soaps that care for the body and reflect God's love, while serving the most vulnerable through BOBO mission - Buy One, Bless One."

We believe small things can make a big difference. A single bar of soap may not seem like much, but in the right hands, it can mean health, dignity, and hope.

Faith Statement

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to live under His authority is our joy and purpose. We strive to love God and our neighbors as ourselves. In serving the least, we serve Christ.

Verses that guide us:

  • Proverbs 9:10 - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

  • Mark 12:30-31 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength... Love your neighbor as yourself."

  • Matthew 25:40 - "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

The Moment That Sparked It All

I began making soap in 2013 out of curiosity and creativity. Life soon shifted as I devoted myself to raising my four daughters, but in 2024 that spark returned—this time with fresh vision and deeper purpose.

Once rekindled, I couldn’t let it go. Amid the chaos of everyday life, the thought of making soap kept me awake at night. A few months later, during a quiet day of prayer and reflection about what this business could become, I went for a walk. Along the way, a butterfly appeared and lingered unusually close. Its wings were delicate, not quite ready for full flight, yet it kept circling me as if to be noticed. Butterfly in the picture is that butterfly, I named it Bobo.

The butterfly - once hidden and seemingly “broken” in its transformation - emerges as something undeniably beautiful. Though fragile at first, given time to strengthen, it soars with grace and inspires awe. That image became an encouragement to me, a reminder of small beginnings and of the Butterfly Effect: how something small can ripple outward into something far greater.

Though my business is still small, I hope that it will carry a meaningful impact - not just in clean hands or soft skin, but in bringing beauty, dignity, and care into everyday life.

The Deeper Meaning of Soap

Even the smallest piece of soap, when lathered with water, is enough to cleanse until no trace remains. To me, this reflects the deeper truth of love and grace—that something so simple can bring renewal. Every bar is crafted with this reminder in mind: cleansing can be gentle, restorative, and full of hope.

The Butterfly & V Solae Co.

For V Solae Co., the butterfly symbolizes:

  • Faith in Action — trusting that even small efforts can serve a greater purpose.

  • The Power of Small — one bar of soap can bring health, dignity, and hope.

  • Transformation — like the butterfly’s life cycle, we hope to bring renewal, growth, and beauty to places of need.
     

Looking Ahead: BOBO

As V Solae Co. grows, I want it to be about more than good products—I want it to make a difference. That’s why I’m creating a future initiative called BOBO — Buy One, Bless One.

For every bar sold, we will donate a portion of the proceeds to help improve hygiene where it is most needed because clean hands can change illness to wellness. One bar for you can mean dignity, health, and hope for someone else.
